Janet Hawley speaks to Wendy Whiteley about the secret garden

Anna Volska plays the heroine

Open until 10pm Wednesdays

Get ready for a jam-packed Art After Hours tonight! We’re kicking off our series of talks and live music performances in association with the exhibition Julia Margaret Cameron: from the Victoria and Albert Museum, London and to celebrate the 40th anniversary of International Women’s Year. Actress and founding member of the Bell Shakespeare Company Anna Volska gives the first in our talks about trailblazing women. In a special event, author Janet Hawley speaks to Wendy Whiteley about her secret garden. Hear about Julia Margaret Cameron’s Australian connections in an exhibition talk, and talented young singer/songwriter Martha Marlow performs live. Plus, the Japanese Film Festival’s Kon Ichikawa retrospective continues with Her brother.
