This day of discovery starts with an audio-described tour of the exhibition Afghanistan: hidden treasures from the National Museum, Kabul at the Art Gallery of NSW.

It is followed by a trip to Australia’s largest archaeological collection at the Nicholson Museum, University of Sydney. Archaeologist Dr Craig Barker will lead an engaging and tactile touch tour of artefacts.

This program is suitable for people with vision impairment.

Transport from the Gallery to the Nicholson Museum provided. Lunch not included.

Note: the Nicholson Museum collection does not contain Afghan artefacts and is not related to the Afghanistan exhibition
