The uplifting and transformative experience of love is the theme for the 2012 Arts of Asia lecture series.

The word ‘love’ is applied to a multitude of relationships as the series – drawing on the expertise of Gallery’s Asian art professionals and external scholars and curators – will demonstrate.

The lectures offer fresh insights into the interpretation of love in the religious, literary and artistic worlds with a broad range of topics including romantic love, devotional love, parental love and forbidden love.
