Creative drawing workshop
Drawing from the imagination
Join artist Andrew Antoniou in this weekend workshop as you explore the picture plane with the use of mark-making and collage techniques, enabling you to develop your own personal imagery.
Referencing some key works in the collection, Andrew will guide you through a variety of methods to engage you in forming images, through poetry, music and word association. The workshop will encourage you to think about composition and visual dynamics within the image. Working with charcoal you will also be developing technical skills that will enhance your imagery through a greater understanding of line and tone study.
All materials provided. Bring an apron, notepad (optional) and lunch (or buy it at the Gallery).
