Catherine Speck, author of Heysen to Heysen, reads letters from the thirty-year-long correspondence about art, between father and daughter artists, Hans and Nora Heysen. Their letters shed light on each others’ lives and art as well as the art worlds of Sydney and Australia.

Associate Prof Catherine Speck coordinates postgraduate programs in Art History and Curatorial & Museum Studies at the Art Gallery of South Australia and University of Adelaide. She is co-researcher of an ARC project, Australian Art Exhibitions 1968–2009 and is author of Painting Ghosts: Australian women artists in wartime.
