New York-based Australian writer Lily Brett is on a tour of Australia to launch her new novel, Lola Bensky.

In a special appearance for Art Gallery Society members Lily will talk about her life and work, and her new novel, the story of a young woman who starts out as a rock music journalist, recollecting the stars that she encounters, and follows her life through to her 50s, when she turns her hand to fiction.

There will be a book signing after the talk.
