Lecturer Dr Julian Droogan, specialist in South Asian archaeology and comparative religions, journeys through the Southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu in this fascinating travel talk. Follow Julian through the sacred temple cities of Tanjor, Madurai and the former French colonial city of Pondicherry. Discover some of India’s sublime visual arts such as the Chola bronzes, several spectacular palaces and temples, and explore the region’s vibrant religious and cultural festivals.
