Murruwaygu: self-taught Koori artists

Please ensure javascript is enabled to watch video

Part of the exhibition Murruwaygu: following in the footsteps of our ancestors, this is an overview of work by senior Koori artists Roy Kennedy and the late HJ Wedge, both Wiradjuri men who grew up on New South Wales missions, receiving little to no education. Kennedy works as a master printmaker, drawer and painter, while Wedge was a celebrated painter who occasionally drew.
