  • About

    The exterior of this fine bowl is incised with a pair of five-clawed dragons in pursuit of a flaming pearl, and the interior bears a white glaze. Judging from the firing crack in the centre of the bowl, it was rejected by the imperial kiln for its imperfection. It was intended to have coloured glaze on the exterior.
