About
Rew Hanks is a Sydney-based printmaker who has exhibited since 1980. He studied at the Alexander Mackie College (now COFA) from 1977-79 and was a fellow at the Tamarind Institute (University of New Mexico) in 1991. He was won the Geelong Print prize twice, and has also had prints included in the Shell Fremantle Print Award for the past three years. He taught printmaking at the National Art School from 1986-96 and currently teaches at the Sydney Gallery School (Meadowbank TAFE).
