Shen Yuhuan, a native of Suzhou in Jiangsu, was the younger sister of Shen Junru (1875-1963). She was a renown Chinese politician and the first President of the People’ Supreme Court of China. After 1949, she served as a researcher at the Shanghai Literature and History Archives, and excelled in calligraphy, painting and seal carving.
