About
Susan Norrie, David Mackenzie and Justin Hale travelled to Indonesia for the KASODO Festival in September 2007. Incorporating aspects from Hinduism, Buddhism, Animism and Islam, the Tenggerese festival dates back to the 15th century: it lasts about a month and takes place in the cindered, smoking crater that encloses the active volcano at the top of Gunung Bromo (Mount Bromo).
