  • About

This beautifully decorated red, white and black beaded trapping features a central band of repeated and paired S-shaped motifs, which is common to many parts of Southeast Asia. The coins decorating this trapping give the date 1945 and date to Dutch rule. It is most likely to have been included amongst the possessions of a noble family.
