  • About

This dish is an example of Chinese porcelain made at Jingdezhen, transported to Nanjing, then to Canton (Guangzhou) for shipment to England. The ware was extremely popular and often known by the name Nankin ware. Although the dish was decorated at Jingdezhen, the gilding would have been added in England.
