About
John Peart's work first came to national prominence in the NGV's 1968 exhibition 'The Field'. He has exhibited in Sydney and further afield since he arrived here in the mid 1960s, and was a friend and contemporary of David Aspden and Michael Johnson, among others. Peart spent five years in the UK and USA in the early 1970s, and now lives and works at Wedderburn, near Campbelltown.
