    This drawing comes from a sketchbook made while the artist was visiting India in February 2002. This particular ghat is on the Ganges River at Benares.

    Judy Cassab has kept a diary her whole life; on this visit she began, for the first time, to illustrate it and also drew in a number of sketchbooks. This drawing came from one of those sketchbooks.
