    Deeply personal Leonie Reisberg’s photographs delve into the ambiguities of intimate space. Like many women photographers of the 1970s-80s, such as Fiona Hall, Micky Allan, Robyn Stacey and Kate Breakey, Reisberg was interested in pushing the boundaries of the medium through painting and collage. 'Untitled' 1979 uses the indexical possibilities of handcoloured photography to transform a ubiquitous moment into an emotionally rich event.
