Yamamoto was born in Nagasaki, educated at Tokyo Sokei University, and now lives in Chiba Prefecture. She feels a nostalgia for something being lost, and here depicts an Elysian world realised in the pretty pastel palette that distinguishes the inclination to the cute found as a strand through modern graphic design.
