About
Records a 'Marndiella or boy's initiation ceremony at Ramingining in December 1986 when just before dawn the dancers set fire to leaves attached to their legs. The drawing shows the track of the moon at the bottom, a curved live of spectators frames the initiates (who are under a blanket), the line of dancers represent the Wititj (python), the conical hats work by the dancers represent the Wagilag sisters’ dog.
