  • About

This painting depicts designs associated with Womens' Ceremonies at the rockhole site of Marrapinti, west of the Kiwirrkura Community. A large group of women camped at the site performing ceremonies. Some of the women sang the songs associated with the area while others performed the dances. After leaving Marapinti the women travelled further east gathering the edible berry known as kampurarrpa as they went.
