  • About

This pot was collected by Stan Moriarty at Okapa, in the Eastern Highlands, in 1966.

It is restricted in form with a direct rim, ovoid belly and rounded base. The vessel is blackened inside and out and decorated with a pale red natural pigment band around inflection point below rim and two white natural pigment bands running from lip to lip crossing base of vessel.

There is a crack running from rim to belly with a larger loss on belly of vessel, and small chips along the rim of vessel.
