- Further information
Djeritmingin is shown as a fish cooped up in a spring pool of fresh water who wanted to get through impassable rock (shown in saw tooth fashion). The two small fish, his children, tried unsuccessfully to find a way out so he then forced his way out with his legs and traveled to the brackish water where salt water meets fresh water at river mouths. He now resides there and is said to make welcoming rain to visitors crossing the sea. Cross-hatching at each end and the center represents underwater rocks.
