Art Gallery of NSW

Known as the Yiribana Gallery, this space presents a selection of works from our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander collection. Representing artists from communities across Australia, it celebrates Indigenous Australia’s enduring cultural heritage and its myriad contemporary expressions.

The current display features works by Gurindji/Malngin/Mudpurra artist Brenda L Croft, presenting a realistic portrayal of contemporary Aboriginal life – a positive image from an insider’s viewpoint.
