Artist's statement

The red string of fate is a Chinese myth I have always had an interest in. It tells how we are linked by fate and, without knowing it, even the smallest encounter can lead us to our destiny. This is what I wanted to show in my artwork. Even mundane activities can form a bigger picture in our future and although we may not be aware of it at the time, even small moments in our life are precious in their own way.
