W B McInnes Sir Baldwin Spencer

The Argus newspaper of 24 June 1924 records the unveiling of this WB McInnes portrait of Sir Baldwin Spencer in the University of Melbourne’s Wilson Hall. Fortunately, the painting escaped that building’s fate; the hall was destroyed in a fire in 1952.
