Winner: Packing Room Prize 1995 not selected as an Archibald finalist by trustees

Although this portrait by Danelle Bergstrom of singer/actor Jon English (1949–2016) was awarded the Packing Room Prize by the Gallery staff who receive the competition entries, it was not selected as an actual finalist in the Archibald Prize by the Gallery trustees and was displayed at the Gallery outside the Archibald exhibition.
