The Anne Landa Award has become integral to the Gallery's programs, presenting the latest and most innovative developments in video and the new media arts. This is the third in a series of biennial exhibitions begun in 2004. For the first time the exhibition includes artists from China, New Zealand and the United Kingdom as well as Australia. This expanded framework reflects the globalisation of the digital age and acknowledges the undeniable impact artworks incorporating new technologies now have on the contemporary art scene worldwide.
