Before sudden death cut short her career, Dutch artist Ferdi (aka Ferdi Tajiri) was further developing an astonishing oeuvre through her ‘Hortisculptures’ – brightly coloured, sensual and tactile sculptural pieces. This boxed edition presents two volumes. The first part revives a long unavailable book published in 1970, presented alongside a collection of illustrations, photographs and personal contributions from friends. The second part presents a variety of little-known visual material, in the form of photographs, newspaper items, works and publications, accompanied by a variety of informative essays.
