Bill Henson celebrity talk

A forum with the artist

One of Australia’s leading contemporary artists, Bill Henson, joins us to discuss his evolving photographic practice as seen in the exhibition Bill Henson: cloud landscapes. Henson will address his expansive career and the shifts and continuities in his images of the last three decades. The audience will be invited to ask questions.

Henson held his first solo exhibition at the age of 19 at the National Gallery of Victoria in 1975. He has since exhibited extensively in Australia and internationally, including at the Biennale of Sydney and representing Australia at the Venice Biennale. Henson’s work is held in all major Australian collections as well as in international collections, including the Solomon R Guggenheim Museum in New York and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.
