Live music: Martha Marlow
A Gallery favourite returns
Art After Hours, Music
Singer/songwriter Martha Marlow’s open tunings, intricate arrangements and pure voice are trademarks of her unique sound. Martha grew up in a musical household, and from an early age began writing and performing on the guitar. Now, at just 22, she has played alongside Clare Bowditch, Angie Hart (Frente) and Matt Corby, and toured with Katie Noonan, and she is currently working on recording her songs with an orchestra.
A favourite with Gallery audiences, Martha returns to Art After Hours for the opening week of the exhibition Rembrandt and the Dutch golden age: masterpieces from the Rijksmuseum.
