It’s Archibald season, and a great time to learn the fundamentals of portrait drawing. Join artist Sue Vesely for this practical portrait drawing workshop for beginners. Sue will demonstrate fundamental techniques and guide you through a series of exercises to help you understand the structure of the human head and explore ways of seeing the head in three dimensions. Sue’s fun and innovative methods will give you a solid start in understanding portraiture and basic drawing. The class will spend time in the afternoon drawing from works in the collection.
