Bertie Blackman on artist Francis Bacon

Please ensure javascript is enabled to watch video

Bertie Blackman performs songs from her latest album, Pope Innocent X. The album's title gets its inspiration from Francis Bacon's 1953 work, Study after Velázquez's portrait of Pope Innocent X, which will be on view in the exhibition. Bertie's father – internationally acclaimed painter Charles Blackman – lived in the same building as Bacon in the 1950s in London, and tonight Bertie will share stories from this time.
