About
Kevin Lincoln is a Melbourne painter and printmaker. His works have a spare, quiet presence with his principal subjects being still life, portraiture and abstraction. His work was included in the Gallery's 2001 exhibition 'Phenomena, new paintings in Australia' and has been included in the Dobell Prize for Drawing four times, in 1993-95 and 2000. His work is in the National Gallery of Australia, National Gallery of Victoria and regional collections. In addition to his long exhibition history in Melbourne, principally with Niagara Galleries, Lincoln has also shown regularly in Sydney since 1995, most recently in January/ February 2010 at Liverpool Street Gallery.
