  • About

William Hewitt Fell was a student and associate of Harold Cazneaux. Born in Longwood, Victoria, Fell enlisted in 1914 and was killed in Palestine in 1918. Little is known of Fell except that he was close to the Cazneaux family and sent gifts back to Harold and his wife from the Middle East. He also sent his undeveloped film to Cazneaux who developed and printed his photographs with Cecil Bostock.
