About
Pam Hallandal made two drawings in chalk, brush and ink of her mother on wood, on the same day in 1979. Her mother died soon after and the blocks remained untouched in her studio for 20 years. In 1999 '..with a tense objectivity I cut one and destroyed the other". They were printed in 2000.
