About
'Excavation 3' is a companion piece to folio 'Excavation 1-4'. It is an example of my early cast relief prints, with styrofoam relief elements laminated between two sheets of white handmade paper, before completion by hand colouring - the illusion of stone acting as a metaphor for the endurance of the human spirit.
