About
Barbara Tribe began working with wood whilst enrolled at Regent Street Polytechnic School of Art, London, and produced works in this medium from around the mid-1940s. 'Figure' was exhibited at the Royal Academy, London, in 1951, and again in Sydney at Macquarie Galleries in 1968.
