About
Acquired in England, these curtains are an example of an embroidery created for English taste, the drop of the curtain is plain 'khaddar' (hand spun and woven cotton). Both are embroidered at the bottom with the motifs common to Kutch courtly embroidery but showing the influence of less rarefied traditions.
