"This is almost an unfinished piece … I think there is another stage where I put another couple of stencils on top. I wanted to leave some at different stages – sometimes I'd leave some prints without going through. I think this is one where I left it at the first stage, because from time to time I could feel I was messing up the thing by staying with it too long."
