This work was made for exhibition at the Osaka World Exposition, 1970.
Yasuhara Kimei was a seminal figure in the development of the avant-garde ceramic movement in post-war Japan. He exhibited in the important Nitten exhibitions, and at other venues.
This piece was made by Yasuhara Kimei and his son, Yoshitaka, for exhibition at the Osaka World Exposition, 1970. -
