Messrs Wallis & Sons, French Gallery, London, 1874-10 Apr 1885, London/England, Purchased from the artist by Henry Wallis and exhibited in his French Gallery, 120 Pall Mall, London. Later transferred to Henry Wallis’s Gallery, Imperial Chambers, 77 Collins St, Melbourne, a colonial offshoot of the French Gallery, London. Purchased from them on 10 April 1885.
