  • About

Morin trained as a painter but he chose to make printmaking his primary activity. His technique is characterised by the supple combination of engraving and etching which skilfully evokes textures and tonalities. Nothing is known of this sitter, although Morin's print is the only evidence left today of the painting that provided its model.
