The seal is attributed to late Qing dyansty's painter Jin Xinlan, 金心兰(1841---1909), native of Changzhou (present day Suzhou of Jiangshu province). His alisas is Xia Niu (blind cattle), 瞎牛, and his studio is called Leng Xiang Guan (Chill fragrant hall), 冷香馆.
