About
Gilbert Bayes writes to Gother Mann, the director of the National Art Gallery of New South Wales, about his pleasure in being asked to execute the two works 'The Offerings of Peace' and 'The Offerings of War'. He asks that the 1/8 scale model of 'The Offerings of Peace', which he sent to Sydney, be returned to him in London. He discusses payment for the works and notes that he would like to use the standard contract drawn up by the Royal Society of British Sculptors.
