About
In 1948 Barbara Tribe moved to Sheffield, Cornwall with her husband and architect, John Singleman. There they bought and renovated a former Baptist Sunday School, naming it 'The Studio'. From 1948 to 1988 Tribe worked as a lecturer in modelling and sculpture at the nearby Penzance School of Art. She continued to live at 'The Studio' until her death in 2000.
