About
Dora Ohlfsen returned to Australia in 1912 after a 20-year absence. The Royal Art Society of NSW featured a special presentation of her work within its annual show. Her twenty works were described as 'a collection of fine medallions and statuettes such as are not often shown here'. A quarter of the show was purchased by the Art Gallery of New South Wales. This photograph shows the cast of her award-winning medal 'The Awakening of Australian Art' on display at the Gallery.
