About
In July-August 1963 Robert Klippel returned to Australia. He set up a workshop in Sheila McDonald's converted warehouse in Woolloomooloo. During this time he collected a large amount of metal junk from IBM Computers and the National Cash Registers Company. This photograph by renowned photographer David Moore shows him outside his studio with 'No. 157' 1963, now in the collection of the National Gallery of Australia.
