Visiting the exhibition
Exhibition entry $7 per student in booked school group
The exhibition is open from 9am every Wednesday in February 2013 for booked school groups; from 10am on other days.
Bookings required for all group visits, including self-guided visits, programs on request and study mornings.

- Bacon art workshop (2 hours)

Celebrate the end of year with the Gallery and your colleagues.
$25 – includes a champagne breakfast, exhibition entry and a presentation on Francis Bacon, resources and approaches.

16 & 17 January 2013, 10am–3pm
HSC Masterclass
Think, make and talk about art to prepare for the Visual Arts HSC practical component. On day 1 be inspired by the Francis Bacon: five decades exhibition at the Gallery, and conclude with a life drawing class, then complete a body of work at the Brett Whiteley Studio on day 2.
$200 for both days – includes morning tea, lunch, exhibition entry, life drawing class and tuition by experienced educators and artists

Wednesday 13 February 2013, 4.30pm
Art After Class: Bacon, Whiteley and de Maistre
A special half-hour lecture for 15–25 year olds, investigating Bacon and his Australian connections. Open to all Gallery visitors. Bookings only required for groups.
