Visiting the exhibition

Exhibition entry $7 per student in booked school group

The exhibition is open from 9am every Wednesday in February 2013 for booked school groups; from 10am on other days.

Bookings required for all group visits, including self-guided visits, programs on request and study mornings.

Choose one of the following options for your students (max 15 per group) with our Gallery educators:

• Bacon discussion tour (1 hour)
  $165 per group + $7 per student exhibition entry

• Bacon art workshop (2 hours)
  $225 per group + $7 per student exhibition entry

• Bacon masterclass (3 hours + 1 hour break)
  $375 per group + $7 per student exhibition entry

Study mornings for Years 10-12

27 & 28 November, 10.30–11.30am
The world of Bacon
Investigate the artist and his practice through a lifetime of work.
$10 per student (includes $7 exhibition entry)

13 & 20 February 2013, 10.30–11.30am
The London years: Francis Bacon and Brett Whiteley
Discover the powerful connections between Bacon and Whiteley in 1960s London.
$10 per student (includes $7 exhibition entry)

Professional development for teachers

Saturday 1 December 2012, 9am–12 noon
Showcase: Francis Bacon
Celebrate the end of year with the Gallery and your colleagues.
$25 – includes a champagne breakfast, exhibition entry and a presentation on Francis Bacon, resources and approaches.
