A series of events falling like dominoes turned my world on its head. When my methods of coping proved futile I fell victim to the mind’s tyranny; a destructive party raging within. The mind hungered for control, while the heart sickened for freedom. Like tooth decay, the subsequent pain eroded the physical body. With my diminishing frame classified under a title, giving a sinister condition an undeserving grandeur. Art medicated this raging party. The Monsters no longer live inside me. Instead they are imprisoned upon paper. Like a bird from a cage I fly, never to return to darkness.
