The Art Gallery of NSW announces the exhibition calendar for 2011. Alongside the Gallery’s permanent collection is a series of changing temporary exhibitions.

2011 will mark a new chapter for contemporary art with the opening of the John Kaldor Family Gallery in May. The Kaldor Gallery will double the space for contemporary art.

The flagship annual Archibald Prize exhibition opens in April and the Gallery’s landmark exhibition Picasso, which presents iconic works from virtually every phase of Picasso’s legendary career, will open November 2011.
